Kristine Tan

As a Learning Designer at the Harvard Teaching and Learning Lab, I build research-informed, AI-enhanced learning solutions for diverse audiences. Grounded in human-centered design and learning science, my work fosters meaningful behavior change and high-impact workplace results. 

I hold an M.Ed. in Human Development and Education from HGSE and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My experience spans nonprofit leadership, behavioral research, and international education, from co-founding a mental health non-profit for international college students to managing bilingual programs in China and Austria. 

When I’m not developing classes on an LMS or meeting with SMEs, I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, biking, cooking, reading in the sun, and working on creative design projects.
