Christine Hwang
As an Online Learning Fellow at the Teaching and Learning Lab (TLL), I support the design and delivery of interactive, accessible online learning experiences across HGSE’s Ed.M. curriculum. I am passionate about human-centered, research-informed design of digital and AI learning tools to support access to quality learning worldwide. I believe in the importance of stakeholder collaboration and elevating learners’ identities in the design process.
Before joining TLL, I taught high school multilingual learners in Baltimore City as a Teach For America corps member and developed content for a literacy-focused EdTech company. My background spans education research, social impact, and international development across the U.S., China, and Uganda. I hold an Ed.M. in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.S. in Human Development and Psychology from Northwestern University.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, rock climbing, and trivia nights, as well as connecting with others through creative projects.
